AVA places Quality, Health and Safety of personnel, Information Security and protection of Environment first in everything it does,
  • By committing itself to satisfy customers’ needs, providing them products of which it guarantees quality by specific controls, and a continuous qualified service during their use;


  • By committing itself in reducing pollution, keeping under control all its activities which may result in a negative environmental impact, both inside and outside the Company;


  • By taking the responsibility, from Managing Director through each employee, of guaranteeing health & safety in workplaces;


  • By adopting socially responsible behavior.


  • Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.
These requirements, valid also for the sub-contractors that operate in AVA or on behalf of AVA, are pursued by AVA by the achievement of the following objectives, summarized as:
  • Respect, both in Italy and abroad, all legislation and rules that regulate AVA activity, included the ones related to health, safety & environment;
  • Adopt in those countries, where legislation on health, safety and environment is not adequate, the legislation in force with the highest level of protection to carry on activities;
  • Expand market towards non-EC countries, consolidating at the same time activity on existing markets;
  • Develop and keep update know-how of personnel by the use of formation and training courses, in both normal working conditions and in emergencies;
  • Assess the environmental impacts of its processes, adopting procedures to manage, anticipate, reduce the risks and the effects of emissions;
  • Minimize emissions into atmosphere by adopting filtration systems adequate to activities;
  • Promote steps to minimize use of electricity and water resources;
  • Promote steps to sensitize Customers in order to improve mud recycling processes;
  • Reduce at minimum risks for health & safety of all workers, especially the risks related to exposure to chemicals, noise, explosive atmospheres, fire hazards;
  • Involve employees in everything concerns health & safety measures on workplaces;
  • Guarantee health & safety of all workers by performing periodical medical checkups and prohibiting use of drugs and alcoholic beverages to all employees, especially while working;

    • Environmental performances
    • Health & safety of workplaces
    • Internal management
    in order to guarantee always satisfaction of customers and of all people interested in AVA (shareholders, employees, suppliers, community).
  • Respect of people safety, data security and laws;
  • Guarantee continuous improvement of the information security management system through actions and monitoring of system indicators;
  • Monitor all the property information treated internally and externally.
The provisions of this policy constitute the company’s “philosophy” and together with all the other provisions of the Integrated System documentation are mandatory for all AVA personnel. Each employee is responsible for the application of all these provisions and contributes with his skill and experience to the quality of AVA products and services and to the efficiency and improvement of the Integrated System.

The objectives and AVA policy are defined, monitored and reviewed each year during management reviews and communicated to all personnel and interested parties. These objectives – in accordance to the technological progress and the market trends – promote the improvement of Quality of processes, Health & Safety of workers, protection of the Environment, and Customers’ satisfaction; their achievement is ensured by providing adequate resources and tools.

Furthermore, in order to comply with the headquarters Legislation concerning the administrative responsibility, social crimes, terrorism, subversion democracy , crimes against human beings, health & safety at work, and considering that AVA’s market is an international one, the AVA Management approved and adopted a Code of Conduct.

This document defines principles and rules of behavior for all personnel operating, cooperating and working with and/or on behalf of AVA, in order to guarantee Company reliability, reputation and/or social image.

This document is communicated to all employees and interested parties.
