FLEXDRILL UTILIZED IN PO VALLEY REGION OF ITALY The Ava Flexdrill system was recently utilized for the second time in the Po Valley region of Italy, and provided the inhibition necessary to successfully drill to casing point, while minimizing drilling fluids costs. A salt-free system was formulated with the Avapolyoil concentration varying from 3 - 6%. The well was drilled with mud weights from 1.3 - 1.7 s.g (10.8 - 14.2 ppg). The fluid formulation was successful in minimizing hole problems throughout drilling operations. |
