OPERATOR CHOOSES FLEXDRILL SYSTEM OFFSHORE ITALY The operator was looking for a salt-free system for improved logging operations. Due to the highly reactive formation in this region, the system needed to provide good inhibition and lubricity. The Flexdrill system was chosen and performed as promised, allowing them to safely drill to casing point through this challenging area without hole problems. The operator was pleased with the fluid performance considering salt/glycol systems (4-5% K2CO3) had been required in previous wells. |
