WBM Non-Dispersed Systems

AVABIODRILL
AVABIOLUBE based system to achieve inhibition, lubricity, and low filtration. Used in conjunction with other inhibitive products like AVACLAYBLOCK, AVA K157, and AVA K142, it improves clay inhibition.

AVACAT
Cationic polymer mud that provides exceptional shale stability. Elevated salt level allows use of compatible non-ionic additives to achieve desired fluid properties and improve inhibition power.

AVACLAYBLOCK
Inhibitive, polymer-based drilling fluid which relies on the unique clay inhibiting properties of AVACLAYBLOCK, to provide minimum clay swelling and good hole cleaning. Use of AVABIOLUBE and AVACLAYBLOCK is recommended to improve lubricity and inhibition.

AVAFULFLOW
Biopolymer, calcium carbonate based drill-in fluid that provides optimum hole cleaning in directional and horizontal wells. AVAFULFLOW system has been developed to reduce formation damage in depleted productive formations. It can be weighed with soluble salts like NaCl, KCl, or AVA K157 brines. In most cases the cake is removed without acidification to recover initial permeability.

AVAGLYCO
Glycol based system to achieve inhibition, lubricity and low filtration. AVAGLYCO produces a cloud point reduction of glycol solubility from 75°C for low salt to 45°C for high salt systems.

AVAHISALT
Enhanced salt inhibitive XC polymer for gas hydrate suppression while drilling deep-water offshore wells.

AVAKCL
Potassium chloride system to limit cuttings dispersion and shale swelling. Recommended in offshore operations when very water-sensitive shale has to be drilled and oil-based mud avoided.

AVA K142
Potassium acetate system to limit cuttings dispersion and shale swelling. Recommended in onshore operations when very water-sensitive shale has to be drilled and chlorides or oil-based mud avoided. AVA K142 brines can also be used as completion fluids for brine densities up to 1.42 g/cm3.

AVA K157
Potassium formate system to limit cuttings dispersion and shale swelling. Recommended in onshore operations when very water-sensitive shale has to be drilled and chlorides or oil-based mud must be avoided. AVA K157 brines can also be used as completion fluids for maximum brine densities of 1.57 g/cm3.

AVAKLM
Potassium/Lime/LTD 2000 system usesx calcium and potassium for well bore stability and inhibition. AVA LTD 2000 provides rheological control, reduced cuttings dispersion, and system deflocculation.

AVAMMH
Mixed Metal Hydroxide system recommended for large diameter, deviated and horizontal wells and milling operations where high carrying capacity is required.

AVAPAC
Polyanionic cellulose fluid to prevent dispersion and swelling of water-sensitive shales. It can be used with fresh, sea, or salt water.

AVAPAC/GYP
Calcium treated, non-dispersed mud used to drill hydratable clay and/or anhydrite formations.

AVAPAK
Potassium polyanionic cellulose fluid to prevent dispersion and swelling of water-sensitive shales. It can be used with fresh, or potassium salt water.

AVAPOLIVIS
Partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide system. Versatile, low-toxicity mud to limit cutting dispersion and shale swelling; it can be formulated with any salinity water.

AVAPOLYSALT
Saturated salt-water based system primarily used to drill massive salt sections, salt domes and formations which may produce high salinity water flow.

AVAPOLYOIL / DEEPDRILL
Proprietary polyglycerol / methylglucoside blend that forms a semi-permeable membrane between the formation and well bore, minimizing ion exchange and maximizing hole stability. This system is environmentally friendly and developed to provide enhanced inhibition in very reactive formations.

AVAPOLYSIL
Potassium silicate based system to prevent dispersion and swelling of water-sensitive clays and to ensure hole stability and high penetration rates.

AVAPOLYSIL NA
Sodium silicate based system to prevent dispersion and swelling of water-sensitive clays and to ensure hole stability and high penetration rates.

AVATRASFOAM
Stiff foam recycling system which uses AVATRASFOAM as foaming agent, AVATRDEFOAM as defoamer, and ACTIVATOR as foam activator.
