The Newpark Drilling Fluids Laboratory has invested in expertise, experience and diagnostic equipment to provide such information at a level unsurpassed in the oil and gas arena. The unique relationship with Ava S.p.A. provides a valuable resource for product development, fluid system design and downhole research. As a result, customers of both Newpark and Ava benefit from valuable data the Newpark Laboratory provides in areas including formation evaluation, borehole stability and analytical services as well as drilling, completion and workover fluid design and testing. The Newpark Drilling Fluids Laboratory is also currently participating in several innovative research projects both independently and in concert with the academic community, thereby furthering industry’s understanding of interactions between downhole fluids and hydrocarbon bearing zones.
